Coding
Our site includes code that will recognise attempts at the more common forms of hacking and alert us accordingly.
Anonymous Cookies and Data Storage
We do not attempt to attach your name or other personal information to cookies or other data we collect. For our purposes it is sufficient to know aggregate information such as how many people look at a particular page not who looked. This means that even if our databases were to be hacked into there is nothing there to identify you or what you have been looking at.
Trust Seal
We have obtained a Trust Seal from Verisign for our website. This means that they have established our ownership of the website domain and that our entire website is scanned daily for Malware (Malicious Software), those nasty little programs that can steal your personal data. You can check the validity of our Trust Seal by clicking on the Verisign logo at the bottom of each page.
Shopping Cart
Most importantly, we use a tried and tested shopping cart to ensure that when the time comes for you to pay a deposit on your chosen China Journey you can be sure that your financial data is kept secure. We have chosen Roman Cart which is secured by VeriSign EV SGC SSL certificates and one of the shopping carts approved by PayPal.
When you proceed to the Checkout you will be redirected to the romancart.com site. If you have a compatible browser you should then see a green bar indicating that SSL security is in operation.
Your financial data is then kept on this server and not recorded by us at all. We have access to our own adminstration area within the romancart site but this only shows us the details we need to process your booking, not your financial data.
Romancart.com are verified by Verisign. You can check that this certificate is still valid by following the VERIFY link by their trust mark at the bottom of the Checkout page.

Yes - wire transfer is one of the payment options when you get to the Checkout stage.
If you don't even want to go through the shopping cart you can always email us and communicate that way.
