Styles Of Travel
We offer three styles of packages and a Tailor-made Service.
Journeys
Complete packages with a theme or purpose. Discover China in ways you never imagined possible.
Our Journeys range from one to three weeks but are not defined so much by the duration as by the underlying theme or purpose. Each trip has a special flavour that will enhance your visit; that's in addition to our own company style that matches creativity with convenience for you.
Each journey covers a significant section of the country; as much as the time permits without rushing. We try to balance the group activities with an element of independence by including free time occasionally - more on longer trips. Our decisions are based on the question, "Will most people want to do this?" If the answer is "Yes" then we include it.
We also use our extensive knowledge of the tourism opportunities in-country and network of local agents to add special features in wherever possible. These make our China Journeys unique and will ensure that your holiday is more memorable.
Reviews
Enjoy bonus time with a focus on the less familiar. Get to the places most tours have to skip.
Recognising that many travellers opt to stay longer before or after their main tour we have created a range of Reviews so that you have the option to benefit from a guide's local knowledge and really get an in-depth look at the city in question.
Extensions

We created a range of Extensions so as to be able to offer exciting opportunities that would otherwise have been hard to justify in a complete package. This gives you a more flexible approach to travel in China and let's you include some truly wonderful places without going to the expense of a Tailor-made program.
Please note: Reviews and Extensions are both available for any date (except dates specified on the details page). You do not have to book a Journey to book one of these products.
Journeys depart on set dates only, though we will consider opening other dates upon request.
Our minimum number for any package is two. Couples and other groups are therefore assured of a departure. Solo travellers will be given an option to pay a supplement and have a private trip.
